The price of regular gasoline here in Nashville has started going back up again and it has doubled in just a couple of months, we had got the price down to $1.25 a gallon and now it is over $2.50 a gallon in spots. I see it going back up to where it was late last year and that will be the end of many small businesses, I know the high gasoline prices last year took the wind out of the sails of our business and it never recovered. I hope to be able to start something else soon to make up the money we lost in our deliverey business and I need to get going very soon.

The new season of the Ice Road Truckers starts on Sunday, this is a great show that I watch with interest every time it is on TV. It has been a long time since it was on and I am ready to watch the brave souls driving on the ice roads. I do not think that I could do it, I do not consider myself a coward but you have to draw the line somewhere and driving a big rig on ice is where I draw the line.

On Sunday we got to see one of the finest Super Bowls ever played. It came down to the very end and both teams had a great chance to win the game. I was very proud of my Arizona Cardinals and lets hope this marks the turn around of this franchise. I would love to see them have a good team every year, in no way do i really think they could make the Super Bowl every year but at least give us a chance to be in the playoffs every year at the very least. Cheers to a great game on Sunday by both teams.

On Sunday the world gets a good look at one of the biggest surprises to ever make it to the Super Bowl. My favorite team the Arizona/St Louis Cardinals will play the Pittsburgh Steelers in what I think is the biggest surprise to ever make it this far in the football playoffs. The closest I can think of was the New York Jets of Joe Willie Namath who won the big game against the much better Baltimore Colts. Lets hope we get the same result from the Arizona Cardnials this weekend. GO CARDS!

Next week we get us a new President here in the United States, and I for one am not very excited over the coming events. I can not see a lot of change coming from other Presidents that we have had, they all come into the office full of piss and vinegar and then they come to realize that nothing really changes just the face in front of the camera. I wish Obama all the best he is going to need the whole country behind him and I am not sure if that is enough to make any major changes.
